At Mountain Green, we combine state-of-the-art processing technologies with over 800 years of family farming tradition. Our entire cultivation area is located outdoors in optimal locations in southern Austria—with ideal conditions for professional hemp cultivation.

CULTIVATION AND PRODUCTION

Our entire cultivation area is located in the sunny Gurktal, a high-altitude valley in the Gurktal Alps, known for its mild Mediterranean summer climate – ideal conditions for sustainable outdoor hemp cultivation.

Every hemp plant is grown directly on our organic fields – from planting the cuttings to hand-harvesting. The extraction of the valuable active ingredients also takes place entirely on our own farm. We cultivate 100% of our own crops – using 100% renewable energy from our own biogas and photovoltaic systems. This not only guarantees the highest quality, which we continually monitor personally, but also strengthens regional value creation.

Our plants grow outdoors in southern Austria—100% organic, natural, and powerful. Sun, wind, and rain strengthen the hemp plants in their natural development.
The full potency is concentrated in the flower – and only this is processed by us under controlled laboratory conditions. Gentle, alcohol-free extraction produces a high-quality, pure, full-spectrum oil that preserves all of the plant's valuable ingredients.
